Onyx

A website banner giving a vape flavour a material: onyx.

The stone carries everything. Black, dense, glass-hard, splitting along fracture
planes that take light in thin strips and give nothing back anywhere else.
Condensation sits on the cold facets. Held in macro across a banner-wide crop,
the stone stops reading as an object and starts reading as landscape — cliff
edges and ledges, with the rest falling away into black.
